Curriculum Vitae
Peter Jozsa was born in Tatabánya,Hungary in april 1975.Began to play the piano at the age of 9.One year later he was enrolled in a special course for the most promising talents at the “Franz Liszt Academy” of Music in Budapest,where he studied with Katalin Nemes,György Nádor,Laszlo Bihary and Ferenc Rados.Since 1995 he has attended the Folkwang University of Music in Essen/Germany in the class of the famous pianist and former Bashkirov-student Boris Bloch.

Prizes:
1989:3rd. Prize at the International Piano Competition in Usti nad Labem
1990: Special Prize of the Jury at International Piano Competition in Ettlingen/Germany
1996: 2nd. Prize at the International Chamber Music Competition in Caltanissetta/Sicily.
2000: Folkwang-Prize of Essen
2000: among the 5 finalists in Monza International Piano Competition/Italy
2003: Prize of the International Summer Academy Mozarteum/Salzburg
2003: Prize of the Köhler-Osbahr-Foundation-Competition Duisburg/Germany.
2006: The Prize for ``outstanding musical personality`` at the 1. Carl Bechstein International Piano Competition- Ruhr/ Germany

2001: Concert with the KELLER-Quartet  /Budapest-Hungarian Radio
2003: Winners Concert in Mozarteum Salzburg(Main Hall)
2004: 2 Recitals at the Ruhr Piano Festival (11 & 12 August, Castle Hohenlimburg)
2007: Recital with violinist Andras Keller in Palm-House, Tata- Hungary

Concert appearances outside his native land have taken him to Austria,Germany,Switzerland,Italy,France,Spain,Holland,Portugal,Romania,Bulgaria,Libanon.
His concerts have been broadcast by Hungarian Radio and Television.
